Bathroom Furnishings

There are luxurious bathroom arrangements that can be installed during a bathroom remodel project. These choices might include basins that are surfaced with smooth stone or ornamented with curved facets that feature handles made of durable brass. All of these splendid choices will offer major resale opportunities when the home dwellers place their abodes on the open real estate market.

The bathroom remodel project might include the addition of whirlpools or air tubs that will not only enhance the value of the home, but give the occupants a relaxation area in the home that visitors will seldom get to visit, much less intrude on their tranquil space. These bathroom themes might even include such pampering features as a steam unit or sauna or a bidet for the lady of the house.

When people think of remodeling their home, they want to enhance the creature comforts inside their home first, and deal with outdoor repairs last. The inside of the home directly affects the lives of their family and homeowners want to make sure that every creature comfort they can afford to make is provided.

There are many exotic features that can be added during a bathroom remodel that will make the resting area so inviting. With towel warmers in place, the weary homeowner will seek refuge in this comfortable space to unwind from a difficult day at work, and emerge with a renewed sense of purpose and vigor that he has not felt in a very long time.

The homeowners can have a lot of fun selecting bathroom vanities and cabinets that will give them added space that they have need for a long time. The exquisite wood grains and wood coloring choices are so varied that they spend many hours experimenting with each one. From light to dark wood, or somewhere in between, there are bathroom vanities made to fit each of person individual character and lifestyle.

People can choose to browse by brand and are amazed at the number of quality brands that are offered on Internet shopping sites that specialize in bathroom remodel furniture and fixtures. With brand names like Ambella Home, Regatta and RonBow, it is hard to choose a specific one.

Online bathroom remodel sites are easy to use and allow homeowners access to these fine bathroom furnishings 24-hours a day, which certainly helps people with very busy work schedules or families with children that need to be transported to many locations throughout the day and night. The online access is ready when they are ready to shop, and certain websites offer 24-hour customer service help too.

Any bathroom can be easily remodeled to add variety and style to homes that were built over 30 years ago. These outdated areas can be brought up to speed in record time, even if the shape of these older rooms may be unique and might require bathroom furnishings that are uniquely shaped or require a certain height be met in order to meet the curve in a particular part of the room.

Homeowners should carefully measure their bathrooms to determine the size of their bathroom furnishings before they start to shop. There are many dimension offerings to be found in online bathroom remodel sites that have bathroom furnishings that range from under 30 inches to those that are 45 inches in height or more.

How 2dull sounds in a bathroom without adding soft furnishings?
As I live in a tropical country all our bathrooms are tiled floor to ceiling & remain mostly wet, I can’t add carpets or curtains. Also the ceiling is really high 12ft+- and EVERY little noise echoes so loudly when I’m in bed & hubby is there I can hear every little drip, drop & plop (it’s en suite too) and it drives me NUTS! It reverberates around the room and I just don’t wanna hear what is being emitted form what orifice…yeuch!!!
    Suggestions please?
Hey Dory, OUCH! Biting, slap across my face with a wet kipper [or dory fillet] but point taken.
I’ll opt for a properly sealed door I think as he always comes in late when I’m already asleep so many other suggestions wouldn’t work.
I wondered if wooden beams would help absorb some sound?

    Your question..made my day! LOL
I think all married women have the same feelings as YOU…
The sounds make you want to crawl down under the bed covers to the very end and never come out! LOL

Since you live in a damp climate….and the room is tiled …how about installing a "heavy duty door" that has insulation inside it…it would help keep the noise down.

Other idea….install a radio that comes on as he enters the bathroom..and the volume drowns out his sounds…LOL

    Best of luck…

insulate in the walls around the bathroom. Use spray in insulation since you have already built. I have my loud washer and dryer in my bathroom next to my son’s bedroom so when I built my house I insulated between the walls around the bathroom and it works to keep the noise from escaping.

Don’t listen, for the lousy 5 – 15 minutes it takes!
    Vacuum, maybe!
You won’t hear him and he won’t hear you bitching!
Constipation is worse, and being a widow even sadder!

Grow up! Everyone has a right to "Bathroom privileges!"
    To each his own!
    Edit:
Actually that would be "John Dory"!
Then again, Snakes don’t know one fish from the other! lol

    Wooden Beams may help, yes!
    Ear plugs are cheaper!

You are one sad, if a "fart" wakes you and you go on, and on and on!
And really can’t resolve this, on your own!

You are humiliating your Husband, and He probably doesn’t even know!
    Shame on you!

    LOL

    Yes pathetic, as it is!
A major renovation versus a turd or two?
This must be a joke, right?

Acoustic tiles. The tiles are made up with a sound absorbing acoustic mineral wool core faced with a highly efficient sound absorbing painted surface. The edges of each tile are chamfered so no jointing strips are necessary. Suitable adhesives can adhere these tiles to the ceiling.
