Acoustic tiles. The tiles are made up with a sound absorbing acoustic mineral wool core faced with a highly efficient sound absorbing painted surface. The edges of each tile are chamfered so no jointing strips are necessary. Suitable adhesives can adhere these tiles to the ceiling.

If you use FOAMED RUBBER mats all across your floor…and put vinyl weather stripping type stuff on the doorway..(or dont he close the door! ha) that SHOULD help! Promise….been there and done it.

Pretty good.
Ripped out all the carpet and put in hardwood floors.
Changed the bathroom kitchen floors from malonium to tile.
Put in recessed lighting.
This was all for my friend’s house. Free labor.

I have done some gardening and painting that has improved our property values. Joe built a lot of the house himself and has done electrical work, plumbing, brickwork, installed fixtures etc., done landscaping that has all improved the value of the place.

insulate in the walls around the bathroom. Use spray in insulation since you have already built. I have my loud washer and dryer in my bathroom next to my son's bedroom so when I built my house I insulated between the walls around the bathroom and it works to keep the noise from escaping.

I think all married women have the same feelings as YOU…
The sounds make you want to crawl down under the bed covers to the very end and never come out! LOL

Since you live in a damp climate….and the room is tiled …how about installing a "heavy duty door" that has insulation inside it…it would help keep the noise down.

Other idea….install a radio that comes on as he enters the bathroom..and the volume drowns out his sounds…LOL
