How to Achieve a New Look for Your Home

“Sometimes, living in a house for a very long time tends to get boring especially if you see the same arrangements and furnishings everyday. Remodeling contractors in St. Louis County are at your beck and call for they are equipped with the proper solutions to home reconstruction.

Residential remodeling in St. Louis County never fails to create magnificent abodes. Among the most common reasons people go for home remodeling are: • To upgrade their homes • To make use of unused spaces that are often blank and dull • To apply changes or a makeover in your favorite part of the house such as the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.

Most of the time though, a homeowner experiences a lot of confusion in house remodeling for he doesn’t exactly know what suits his home. Interior renovation in St. Louis County requires a well planned layout; it is essential to be prepared so arrange all the details you want incorporated to your house.

Managing the project in the most efficient manner is the key to a successful remodeling project. Having a greater understanding of what should be changed, renovated or added to your home leads to the better execution of the job.

Some of the most popular remodeling ideas you can apply to achieve a better home for yourself and your loved ones are:

1. Kitchen Remodeling in St. Louis County

The kitchen is a very essential part of the house. It’s where the food preparation takes place and adding more space to it will not only make cooking more fun but the entire kitchen appealing, too. By knocking down the walls of your current kitchen, you create a larger room. An ideal kitchen is often combined with the communal dining room so it becomes the focal point of the house.

Although costly, kitchen remodeling is a good investment because it will up the value of your house. If you are thinking about selling it, an inviting new kitchen is definitely worth the lofty price.

2. Bath Remodeling in St. Louis County

Another part of the house that is usually renovated is the bathroom. Bathrooms are quite fun to remodel for one can apply to it whatever shade or design he wants. To make the place more relaxing and comfortable during your “me time”, you can stroke the walls with soothing paint colors, apply dim lighting and bring in aroma with potpourri. Whatever you want to apply to your bathroom is absolutely up to you because it has to reflect your character.

3. The Basement

The basement is another area of the house that needs remodeling. You can transform this large space into a recreation nook like a poolroom, or it can serve as an extra bedroom or storage room. Finishing a basement also adds more value to your home because it will appear as a notable feature than a merely wasted burrow in your house. “

How can I achieve the “beach blonde” look at home?
I want to go blonde, but don’t have the funds at the moment. Is there any way I can achieve this without going to the salon and not looking cheap and gaudy?

30Vol + Bleach powder. Mix it in even proportions, get a friend to help you put it in to make sure it’s even. Work quickly when you do it.

Once it’s in, stand in the sun or near a heater to help it develop. DO NOT leave it in longer than 30 mins.

    Rinse.

Put a toner in your hair to even out the colour.

    Rinse.

[You may also choose to apply a blonde dye at this stage, mixed with some 20 or 30 Vol. Ask a consultant at your local hair products store... then rinse.]

Put a treatment/some conditioner in your hair.

    Rinse. Voila!

Despite not being a hairdresser, I’ve had an AMAZING amount of trial and error at home and have learned A LOT, especially about bleaching and using unexpected colours!

If you are brown or darker – don’t do it!!!! not worth it – you will turn your hair orange / yellow YUK

Honestly for the money it will cost you to fix your stuff up – just safe up and go to hairdressers.

    Good luck

Blondissma and any brand of "blonde" shampoo its purple. But I would really recommend seeing a Stylist if your hair is dark dark brown or black because a lot of the time your hair will turn out orange looking and will need a super gentle bleach, special conditioners and a professionals touch. Good luck : )

Please do not colour your hair yourself.
If it is too expensive to hair your hair done in a salon ask to be a model. You will need plenty of time but the assistant will be fully supervised so you will be in safe hands. If you do not think they understand how subtle you want to go ask to speak to the supervising stylist.
It is very hard to acheive a decent blonde at home.
You have said how dark you are naturally but I would never ever recommend colouring your hair at home- ESPECIALLY if you are darker that a base 7 or you have red undertones in your hair.
If you do you will run the risk of being left looking very brassy and cheap.
I hope this helps you and I hope you enjoy your new look if you decide to go for it.
Also, if you do decide to be a model in a salon make sure they know you want a more beige look rather than too golen. Take some cut outs from magazines if poss.
Sorry- bit of a long one there.

I think u shouldn’t do it at home. Dying hair blonde is a very "touchy" thing, especially from a darker color. Of course, u can always ask a friend who knows how to do it, or even better, a friend who is a stylist. But if it’s your first time, I think u should go to the hairdresser’s. Don’t dye it if u don’t know how, dying it again and again to make it better will damage your hair a lot. So I say wait, or ask a friend hair-dresser.

    I hope I helped!
